Ricky Gervais gave an update and thanked people for getting his jokes, instead of offended. Because, you know, it’s just a joke.

Aside from the positive response, this became his chance to promote his own show, ‘After Life’ which is getting a season 2. He’s also got an increase of 300k followers thanks to his epic monologue.
