Girl Landed Herself A Job Interview At Aldi After She ‘Rejected The Rejection’ In A Daring Email

Many people live up to never taking a NO for an answer. But in an attempt to live such a rigid standard, many have crossed the line – from being confident to an infuriating and obnoxious person. However, this isn’t the case here, and indeed Jessica Irving has proved that having a NO for an answer can take land you opportunities, including a Job.

Jessica of Mount Druitt, Western Sydney, had applied for the Retail Assistant position in Aldi, but she got an email that read she was unsuccessful. The teen forwards an email that featured rejecting the rejection and amazingly landed herself an interview.

Of a truth, it can be quite challenging for young people to find first-time employment when studying. But just like Jessica, you can remain positive in the face of heartbreaking feedbacks to applications. ‘Thank You for taking the time to submit your application for the Retail assistant position at Aldi. After careful consideration, we regret to advise that you haven’t proceeded to the next stage in this instance.’ The email read.

On receiving the heartbreaking email, Jessica responded by outlining how her skills were right for the position and emphasized how absurd it was for Aldi to turn her down. ‘Although my application was rejected, I have been applying for jobs for over a year now with no success.’

‘My skills are on par with your store, with the ability to be exceptionally fast-paced to scan items as every Aldi Team Member does. I pride myself on my impressive sales skills and can describe myself to be persuasive and show effectiveness. So persuasive that I would like to reject your rejection confidentially. Thank you for letting me be part of the team; I won’t let you down. See you on Monday.’ The 18-Year-Old replied to the email.

The teen who took to Facebook to express her shock claimed she had discovered the loophole for unemployment and uploaded screenshots of messages she had received from news stations, including Channel 10 and Daily Mail.
