‘Game Of Thrones’ Actor Jack Gleeson Got Married To His Long-Term Girlfriend

The actor behind the role of King Joffrey in ‘Game of Thrones‘ has tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend in a church in Glen. Parish priest Fr Patsy Lynch shared some snaps of Jack Gleeson and his wife at the quiet ceremony on Twitter.
“Very simple, prayerful and dignified marriage ceremony for Film Celebrity Jason Gleeson and Roisin: The Glen Church.”
He shared that this is the pre-wedding ceremony, and they’ll hold another event soon in England. The priest spoke with Independent, “It’s a pre-wedding ceremony. The real ceremony will take place over in England, but the family have been holidaying down here in Ballinskelligs, The Glen, for many years, and they have so many happy memories here.”
She continued, “We had a lovely, prayerful, dignified wedding ceremony. Jack texted me this morning to say that it was such a wonderful, moving ceremony, and afterward, they went for a meal.”
Gleeson sported very casually for the event in a green shirt and a brown pair of pants. His wife was in a colorful, pastel dress with a bouquet of pink flowers.
Joffrey won’t be appearing in the newest ‘Game of Thrones’ flick, ‘The House of Dragon,’ as it’s set 200 years before the previous show and is based on the novel ‘Fire & Blood.’ The newest show focuses on the story of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower.
Gleeson is set to star in “In the Land of Saints and Sinners,” an upcoming Netflix thriller. He’ll be acting with fellow cast members Liam Neeson, Mark O’Regan, and Ciarán Hinds.
It is an Irish film directed by Robert Lorenz and is set in a remote village where a newly retired assassin attempt to survive in a game of cat-and-mouse against three vengeful terrorists.
