It had been rumored that the Golden Singer might be playing Prince Eric in the live-action remake of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, but he turned it down.

According to Page Six, the photos come from a leaked shoot intended to promote his Saturday Night Live appearance. Could the turned-down be because Styles wanted to play the significant part of Ariel, judging by the new photos? Well, we can’t actually say but indeed, donning a shell bra, a red wig, and a fishtail in a photoshoot sure make Styles quite stunning.

His fans are all wild, claiming that even if Harry played both Eric and Ariel, it’s a must-watch.

However, Harry had previously revealed his liking for mermaids back in 2014. He even got a tattoo of one of the mythological creatures on his forearm. On the other hand, Disney is currently working on the remake, which Harry turned down with singer Halle Bailey in the lead role.
