Doja Cat Slams ‘Stranger Things’ Star Noah Schnapp For Exposing Their Private DMs
“Maybe he is, like a whole snake. But I didn’t see him that way.”
Doja Cat has slammed stranger things star Noah Schnapp, for revealing what was supposed to be their ‘private exchange.’ The singer didn’t take it quite lightly, having seen the messages online, and of course, you’ll agree that Noah, 17, no doubt behaved both childish and immature.
The 26-Year-Old ‘Say So’ singer had texted Noah, who plays in the Netflix show as Will Byers, asking he link her up with Joseph Quinn, who plays Eddie Munson.
In the exchange, Doja asked, “Noah can you tell Joseph to hit me up,” and then she quickly followed it up by asking, “Wait, no. does he have a gf?” Noah replied, “LMAOO slide into his DMs,” but she complained she could not find an account belonging to Quinn, 29, on Instagram or Twitter.
Hours later, Noah dropped Doja a link to the actor’s Instagram account.
Taking to Instagram to address the subject matter, Doja, via an Instagram live video, said, “I think that to be fair, first let’s be chill about it. Like Noah is a kid, but I don’t even know how old he is, but he’s not even over, like there’s no way he’s over 21, but when you’re that young, you make mistakes.”
Doja felt her privacy was infringed on and violated by what Noah had done, describing him as “unbelievably socially unaware and whack.”
She added: “Maybe he is, like a whole snake. But I didn’t see him that way. I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it and he went and shared information that I didn’t feel comfortable with him sharing.” This comes as Doja had earlier expressed her admiration for Quinn, and her contacting Noah transpired just after she wrote “Joseph Quinn fine as s**t” on Twitter.
But sadly, things went south as Noah jokingly posted the exchange in a now-deleted video on TikTok.
So far, Noah himself is yet to publicly say something about the situation, although he pulled down the clip early on Friday morning. His actions were, however, uncalled for, as he didn’t need to make ‘private business’ public. If you were in Doja’s shoes, how would you’ve reacted?
