Coldplay Will Not Be Holding Concerts Or Tour Until They Can Be ‘Beneficial’ To The Environment

There won’t be a tour for new album any time soon.

Coldplay has announced that they are releasing a new album ‘Everyday Life’. The group has decided to resist the temptation to go for a tour in order to stop hurting Mother Earth, as they spoke to BBC.

They won’t be setting out on another tour until they can find a way to launch one, not just on a sustainable level, but also ‘actively beneficial’ to the environment. They will be holding on a pair of concerts in Jordan which can be streamed worldwide on Youtube for free.

Unfortunately, when it comes to this seemingly harmless methods, online music streaming is not exactly innocent. Of course, it means millions of fans don’t have to create gas emissions from travelling. The group is currently working with environmentally conscious groups on planning a sustainable tour.

Concerts, however, are minor compared to the carbon waste industrial companies produce. But significant changes have been made, such as changing the spotlight with energy-efficient LEDs.
