Chris Rock’s Brother Kenny Says He Wants To Fight Will Smith In Boxing Match
The hands have to do the talking this time around.
Reactions to Will Smith’s Oscar slap linger! This time around, Chris Rock’s younger brother Kenny has voiced his opinion and has challenged Smith to a boxing fight. Speaking with TMZ, Kenny shared he had just been signed on to do a celebrity boxing match and doesn’t have an opponent yet.
So when asked if he thinks his older brother, Rock, and Smith should get in the ring, he replied the actor should fight him instead.
When also asked if he also had any message for Smith, Kenny added: “I’ll let the hands do the talking.” He shared his feelings about the Academy banning Smith from the Oscars, saying it has to be seen if the actor is actually going to get the 10-year ban. He continued: “They might say a 10-year ban, and after three years they’ll think we may have forgot about it, and they’ll slide him in there after two years/three years/five years.”
Kenny then insisted: “So we have to make sure these people do what they say they’re going to do.”
He further stated that he doubts Rock accepted the public apology Smith shared on his Instagram. This comes after another of Rock’s brothers, Tony Rock, had addressed the slap during his stand-up show earlier this month. He had told the crowd before anyone walked up to slap him that “this [referring to his show] aint the motherf**king Oscars.”
