People’s favorite shirtless actor, Channing Tatum, recently shared that he needs to get better at acting to stop being naked in all of his movies. Talking about his physique, which has helped make him famous with roles in films like Step up, Tatum admitted the amount of work it takes to maintain his body.
Channing Tatum shared that he needs to get better at acting to stop being naked in all of his movies.
Tatum generally ends up taking his shirt off or in a sex scene in movies like Magic Mike.
“As someone who works out for a job, I promise you I would not look like this unless I had to be naked in most of my movies mostly. At some point, I have to get better at acting, so I don’t have to be naked in all of them.” Tatum said in a virtual interview with Kelly Clarkson.
Tatum applauded people who fit workouts and self-care into their daily routine despite having family activities.
In April, the Magic Mike star captioned this photo: “goodie good” after a workout.
He added: “I literally get to work out as a job, and it’s still hard. I can’t imagine people who have a 9-5 job, who have kids at home, and where do they get the energy and the time to focus on themselves?”
Tatum is the latest celebrity to speak about his role in setting unrealistic expectations for human bodies.
In September, Tatum shared a shirtless picture of himself following an injury.
“It’s been a long road back. Injuries, life shit, and just insanity in general. Daddy is finally back, boooi!! Gonna be fun next 10-year run. To all those that have been there for me and held me down through it all. I love you. I am gonna make ya proud. Let’s go.” He had captioned the post.
