Cara Delevingne Accused Of ‘Fe[t]ishizing Black Women’ After Her Absurd Treatment Of Megan Thee Stallion At BBMAs

Cara Delevingne’s behavior at the recently held Billboard Music Awards has unarguably overshadowed the winners of the evening. Most of her escapades were fortunately captured on camera, and it had started on the red carpet when she was seen peering around a corner to watch Megan Thee Stallion as she posed for the photographers.

Later, she was seen shouting loud and sticking her tongue out before running onto the carpet to grab the train of Megan’s custom Mugler dress.

Cara repeatedly tossed the train in the air for the cameras. While Megan had laughed about it initially, people pointed out a glimpse of discomfort appeared to cross her face as Cara interrupted her red carpet moment. Things eventually got more awkward when Cara was seated next to Megan and behind Doja Cat. 

At a time when Megan and Doja seem to be having a discussion, Cara interrupted them, popping up between and telling Doja: “Babe, I f**king love you so much.”

And just when Megan won the award for Rap Female Artist, she couldn’t didn’t hide an act of leaning into the singer and sticking her tongue out while pulling a face.

As Meghan made her way onto the stage, Cara once again grabbed the train of her dress, and instead of throwing it like she previously did, she ran her hand down the fabric. When applauding Megan’s win, she had been spotted leaping out of her seat dramatically.

Cara was also spotted writhing on the floor in another scene as she took a pic of Doja posed along with DJ Khaled and Fat Joe. 

After the BMMA videos went viral, people couldn’t hold back but had to highlight how Cara had behaved similarly at past events.

Earlier this month, she had been seen leaning into Kiss Megan at a Met Gala after-party. The short video shared on the Instagram page, @Deux Moi, gained traction, especially as Megan reacted by putting her hands on Cara’s shoulders and gently pushing her away. Instantly, many responded to the video, claiming Cara could now be seen as a menace to society.

One person tweeted [now-deleted]: “Glad people finally seeing Cara Delevingne as a menace to society because why was she trying to Kiss Megan at the Met Gala after party.” While another said, saying:

Another moment had been filmed at Leah McSweeny’s Halloween party in 2021, during Azealia Banks’ performance of “212.” At the time, Cara got onstage mid-performance and grabbed the mic from Azealia. Later, she kneeled on the floor and began to grab and lick Azealia’s legs. Someone shared the clip and wrote: “Can we ban Cara Delevingne from Hollywood?” 

The pattern of behavior also sparked reactions, and people indeed aired their opinions.

While none of the women involved have commented on Cara’s behavior, Megan has since sparked speculation she wasn’t comfortable, especially as Cara had been completely edited out in a photo she posted online.
