‘My name is Andres and I am 12-Years-Old. My mum and I reached an agreement to leave my dog in your hands, keeping it away from dad because he’s thinking of selling him off – he mistreats and kicks him frequently.’ The letter reads.

‘One day, my dad kicked him so hard that his tail was hurt. I hope you can help take proper care of him. I left him a stuffed animal so he wouldn’t forget about me.’ The letter continued.

Sharing the heartbreaking note to Facebook, the shelter included adorable photos of the Pit Bull, which instantly did go viral.

Over 300 people have requested to adopt the adorable animal, who has been given the name ‘Rene.’ According to reports, the requests came from all over the country and it appears the shelter hasn’t yet decided on an owner for the puppy, who’s still very much in their care.

Checked by a vet, Rene is ready for adoption

Checked by a vet, Rene is ready for adoption. With one lucky family welcoming Rene into their home, the shelter is also reminding dog lovers they have about 120 Pups who need to also be adopted.

‘If everyone opened their home and heart like this little dog, they would have then adopted each of our dogs from the shelter.’ The shelter wrote.
