Bob Saget’s Family Opened Up After The Sudden Death Of The Actor
“He was everything to us.”
The news of the death of comedian Bob Saget has shocked many people, especially his family members. The 65-year-old actor was found dead in his hotel room on January 9 per TMZ’s report.
Bob Saget’s time of death was in the late afternoon on Sunday.
The family released their statement to Page Six that says, “We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today. He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.”
“Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”
The father-of-three was found dead in his room at Ritz-Carlton in Orlando.
Bob Saget was pronounced dead on the scene after the Orlando Sheriff’s Department responded to a 911 call at 4 pm ET. No other information has been added to the cause of death and the circumstances surrounding it.
“We have no information on the cause of death, and detectives have found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case,” a statement from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
“The Medical Examiner’s Office will make the final call on the cause and manner of death.”
Bob leaves behind his 42-year-old wife, Kelly Rizzo, and three daughters, Aubrey, 34, Lara, 32, and Jennifer, 29.
Bob married Kelly over three years ago in 2018, which was a shocking decision even for himself after ending his previous marriage of 15 years. The comedian had his three daughters from his marriage with attorney Sherri Kramer.
He told Closer Weekly, “I didn’t think I’d have a relationship again. I was kind of in that ‘just work, make people happy and take care of your kids until they’re 90’ mindset.”
“My daughters love her! She’s a remarkable person, and she’s really talented. She’s got her own website and streaming series called Eat Travel Rock.”
He also gushed over her and penned a birthday post for his wife just weeks earlier.
“I don’t know what to say except she is the sweetest, most beautiful, smartest woman— and I am so incredibly lucky— and always surprised she loves me so much. Almost as much as I love her. Everyone who gets to have Kelly in their life is beyond fortunate,” the post reads.
“She is an amazing wife, daughter, sister, “step-mommy Kelly,” and best friend. I’m going to do my best to give her the best birthday ever. Every day. I guess I did know what to say. I love my wife Kelly Rizzo.”
Kelly has also taken to Instagram to share that she’ll share her thoughts in the near future.
