Amy Schumer Dragged Leonardo DiCaprio For Dating Younger Girls At Oscars
The host was totally complimenting him.
Amy Schumer was co-hosting the 94th Academy Awards with Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall for the show and when it finally came for her turn to roast people, she mentioned the 47-year-old three-time Golden Globe winner.
The stand-up comedian, 40, mentioned Leonardo’s habit of getting together with much younger women.
“I mean, Leonardo DiCaprio—what can I even say about him?” Amy began. “He’s done so much to fight climate change and leave behind a cleaner, greener planet for his girlfriends.”
“Because he’s older, and they’re younger. You get it,” she tried explaining the joke as the hall exploded into laughter.
Leonardo DiCaprio has indeed been very vocal and involved in programs from protecting indigenous people to marine wildlife.
But many are also familiar with how the man has been dating women and they get younger one after another.
Right now, he’s been going steady with Camila Morrone, a 27-year-old model since 2017. Before her, the actor had been dating many A-listers from Kate Moss, Helena Christensen, Naomi Campbell, Bar Refaeli, to Nina Agdal. He also dated Gisele Bündchen from 1999 to 2005.
The model has previously addressed concerns over their 23-year age gap with LA Times, “There’s so many relationships in Hollywood — and in the history of the world — where people have large age gaps. I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date.”
