Amber Heard Breaks Down Claiming Johnny Depp Se*ually Assaulted Her With A Liquor Bottle, But The Defense Team Says It’s The ‘Performance Of Her Life’
The assault took place in 2015 in their rented home.
As she fights back at Johnny Depp, Amber Heard continues to unbolt heartbreaking incidences. Taking the stand, the actress tearfully detailed how the Pirates of the Caribbean star assaulted her with a liquor bottle.
The same incident saw Depp’s finger severed, but Heard testified she didn’t witness the fingertip being cut off.
Notably, the alleged fight took place in March 2015 in Australia at the couple’s rented home while Depp was filming the film Pirates of the Caribbean 5.
“At some point he’s on top of me, screaming I f**king hate you, you ruined my f**king life. I’m on the countertop, he had me by the neck and was on top of me. I’m looking into his eyes and I don’t see him anymore. It wasn’t him, it was black. I haven’t been so scared in my life. He was looking at me. I was trying to get through to him, to say in some way it was me. Trying to get through to Johnny,” Heard testified as she sobbed uncontrollably.
She continued: “My head was bashing against the back of the bar and I couldn’t breathe. I remember trying to get up to tell him he was really hurting me. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t get through to him. I couldn’t get up.”
Heard appeared overwhelmed with emotion as she explained that the next thing she remembered was that she was bent over backward on the bar, staring at the blue light, her back on the countertop, and felt Depp was punching her as well as pressure on her public bone, and she could feel his arms moving. She stated: “I don’t remember what I said; I just remember being still, not wanting to move.”
“I remember looking around the room, looking at all the broken bottles and broken glass and I remember not wanting to move because I didn’t know if it was broken, I didn’t know if the bottle he had inside me was broken. I couldn’t feel it, I didn’t feel pain, I didn’t feel anything.”
Heard admitted she saw so much broken glass and didn’t know how she eventually got off the countertop. She also claimed she could only remember being in the bathroom, retching, the sound her voice was making, and almost losing control of her bladder. She also told of how she remembers just retching and that there was blood on the floor. Depp’s team claims Heard’s tales of abuse have evolved with new and convenient details.
And as a result, the actor’s attorneys plan to expose the actress’s lies during cross-examination.
They’ve also dubbed her testimony as “the performance of her life.”
Heard further claimed Depp, having ingested about 8-10 MDMA Pills, had gotten into an argument with her, accusing her of sexual intimacy with Eddie Redmayne, a co-star in The Danish Girl. She also shared that Depp, at a point, got upset about her working with Billy Bob Thornton. She explained: “He confirmed he took that amount and could take that amount. 8 or 10. He calls his agent, he calls a few people, and he’s screaming at them.”
“I got a sense it was money, he got a sense people had stealing from him. He was calling himself a wh**e, he’d been wh**d out.”
The next thing Heard said she could remember was coming downstairs and looking for Depp, but an interaction followed suit. “We had an interaction that I can’t describe; it didn’t make much sense to me. Just belligerent, throwing things, screaming at me. I realized I was back on the chopping block. He had me up against the wall, he slams me hard, and I hit my head hard. This is the wall next to the kitchenette.”
She added the altercation went from Depp saying ‘no one likes you, everyone warned me about you’ and that he wished he had never married her.
Following the horrific fight, which she claimed also witnessed bottle throws, Heard said when she woke up the next day, she could hear Marilyn Manson’s music blaring out of the house’s speakers. It became clear Depp hadn’t slept, and she attested she saw brown writing on the walls in dried blood, blood on the carpet, and brown letters that were messages to her.
This lampshade, seen with the word ‘be careful at the top,’ was submitted as evidence in court.
Heard also said there was a giant p**is written on a painting and a table overturned, and in the bar area where they fought, there was broken glass everywhere.
During a fight in December 2015, Heard claimed Depp also head-butted her and beat her so badly she thought she would die. “I look him right in the eyes. It was a still moment. (He said) you want to go again, tough guy. I looked right up at his face; he balled up his face, leaned back, and head-butted me square in the nose. Instantly (I felt) searing pain; it’s one of the few memories I have of physical pain, searing pain.
Allegedly, Depp dragged Heard by the hair into a neighboring apartment, leaving chunks on the floor.
He also got on top of her with her face in a pill and repeatedly beat her.
Of this incident, Heard said he tried to hold her with his knee on her back, and he was punching her with a closed fist repeatedly. She concluded she could remember the sound of Johnny’s voice as he got next to her ear, wildly as he was screaming over and over again but that “I couldn’t breathe. I remember trying to scream and I couldn’t scream suffocating in this pillow top with him holding me down and punching me. I don’t have any memory after that until I woke up.”
