It’s insisted that someone else needs to be blamed.

Alec Baldwin was seen tearful, as revealed in an interview with ABC that he would have killed himself if he was responsible for the death of camerawoman 42-year-old Halyna Hutchins. The 63-Year-Old who had criticized George Clooney for chiming on the tragic situation detailed how Hutchins was loved and how he’d bonded with her.

The actor noted that on the movie set in New Mexico on October 21, the gun in his hand accidentally went off, which was never intentional. He claimed not to have known that the camerawoman was dead until hours later, at the end of his police interrogation, where he was photographed in the Sheriff’s parking lot in Santa Fe.

“Someone is responsible for what happened, and I can’t say who that is, but it’s not me,” Baldwin has said.

He didn’t know the camerawoman was dead until hours later, at the end of his police interrogation.

Baldwin explained he had been told by people “in the know” that it’s highly unlikely he will face criminal charges. “Someone is responsible for what happened, and I can’t say who it is, but it’s not me. Honest to God, if I thought I was responsible, I might have killed myself. And I don’t say that lightly,” he insisted.

The 63-Year-Old said investigators must find who put the bullet in the gun, which was supposed to be empty.

He revealed Hutchins herself asked him to point the gun just off-camera before it went off.

Baldwin detailed the incident for the first time, revealing he was filming a scene inside a church on the movie set when the gun was handed to him. “She’s getting me to position the gun – everything is in her direction. I draw the gun to her marker. I’m not shooting to the camera lens; I’m shooting just off in her direction. This was a completely incidental shot that may not have ended up in the film.”

It was 45 minutes to an hour before he began to understand that a live round had been in the gun.

After speaking to investigators, a devastated Baldwin was seen outside the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s office.

He claimed he cocked the gun and interacted with Hutchins on how it looked on camera. He continued: “I’m just showing. I go, ‘How bout that? Does that work? You see that? Do you see that? And then she goes, “Yeah, that’s good. I let go of the hammer, bang. The gun goes off. Everyone is horrified. They’re shocked. It’s loud. They don’t have their earplugs in.”

The live round Baldwin fired may have been a homemade bullet, according to court documents.

Amid the interview, he had one tearful moment when he described Hutchins as “somebody loved by everybody.”

“No one was – the gun was supposed to be empty. I was told I was handed an empty gun. If they were cosmetic rounds, nothing with a charge at all, a flash round, nothing. She goes down; I thought to myself, “Did she faint? The notion there was a live round in that gun did not dawn on me till probably 45 minutes to an hour later.”

Here’s David Halls, the Assistant Director of Rust. He was acting in/producing when Baldwin shot Hutchins.

Baldwin insisted: “I never pulled the trigger. No, no, no. You would never do that.” Dave Halls, the assistant director who was watching, confirmed Baldwin’s account through his lawyer. He stated he stood over her for about 60 seconds and was then ushered out. Was she conscious? Stephanopoulos asked, to which Baldwin said: “My recollection is YES.”

However, the actor took a swipe at former President Donald Trump for suggesting that he had loaded the gun himself. Baldwin blasted both George and Trump for commenting on the tragedy. “He said I did it deliberately. Just when you think things can’t get any more surreal, here’s the president of the United States making a comment on this tragic situation.” On the other hand, Baldwin revealed he was unaware of Hutchins’s work until he was introduced to her by director Joel Souza.

He has been countering misconceptions and making it clear; he will go lengths to undo what transpired.

Likewise, the actor hopes the sheriff’s office follows the incident to the end of the earth. So far, two people have filed suits. The lighting director, Serge Svetnoy, who was close to Hutchins and cradled her as she lay dying, filed for emotional distress. But then the same Svetnoy had confirmed through his lawyers that he told Baldwin he was blameless.

Hours before the actors’ interview with ABC, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin grabbed coffee in NYC.
