Alec Baldwin And His Wife Are Expecting Their 7th Child As He Reveals ‘Why’ They Keep Having Children
It’s an ultimate journey, and they love it.
Alec Baldwin has finally addressed people’s curiosity about why he keeps having children. The actor had last month left his fans shocked when he announced that his wife was pregnant with their seventh child. The pair are already parents to Carmen, 8; Leonardo, 5; Eduardo “Edu,” 1; Romeo, 3; Maria Lucia, 1; and Rafael, 6.
Baldwin is also dad to Ireland, 26, [pictured below], whom he shares with his ex-wife Kim Basinger.
Taking to his Instagram, the “30 Rock” alum, via a video, first showed off his daughter Maria Lucia cooling and flaunting her two front teeth before he wrote: “People ask why. This is why. Being a parent is the ultimate journey.” Needless to say, the family loves having kids and possibly might not stop anytime soonest.
Back in March, Hilaria, 38, had shared that she and Alec, 64, had believed they had a complete family before their latest bundle of joy shocked them.
She also took to Instagram and shared in the video post: “After many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting up and a huge surprise: another Baldwinto is coming this fall.” The former yoga instructor, born in Boston with the name Hillary was seen as she broke the news of the other Baldwintos, adding that their new baby is a very bright spot in their lives, a blessing, and a gift during such uncertain times.
It had been suspected that Hilaria had used the term “uncertain times” to refer to Baldwin shooting and killing Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
The actor had, in October 2021, been accused of firing a single bullet that hit and killed Hutchins, then exited her body and struck director Joel Souza in the clavicle amid filming the Western Flick in New Mexico.
Lawyers for Halyna’s family have since filed a wrongful-death suit against the actor while they released a chilling video that re-enacted the movie-set shooting. It had included the moment Baldwin allegedly pulled the trigger of what was supposed to have been a prop gun with blank bullets. However, it seems his daughter Ireland had been compelled to issue a statement about his latest family expansion.
Ireland wrote she gets messages from people obsessed with her dad’s family and added they assumed she had a take on his decision, but it was none of her business.
