Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace ‘Determined To Become A Mom’ After 6th Miscarriage
The mom wants to “confront it face on” despite the pain.
Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace from “Big Brother” had just experienced her sixth crushing miscarriage. The 43-year-old is very open about her struggle with pregnancy and previously shared how she had a stillborn who was only six and a half months pregnant.
She’s determined to carry naturally and hasn’t frozen her eggs because she wants to keep trying before it’s “too late.”
She spoke with Closer, “After each trauma of a miscarriage, I tend to put it behind me and move on with life without really delving into what could be going wrong. When I was younger, I thought, I’ll worry about it later and just get on with my career, but now that I’m 43, I can’t put it in a box and push it into the back of my mind anymore.”
“I have to confront it face on otherwise. It could be too late.”
She’s previously visited a fertility clinic in Dubai to consult and figure out a way for her. The actress revealed that she has no problem conceiving, but it’s proven challenging for her to carry the baby safely to term, and wishes experts could figure out why that’s the case.
Aisleyne has been told that she has rhesus negative, a rare blood disease that causes women to have issues when it comes to carrying a baby to full-term.
She’s also open to having children through fostering but had been postponing the idea after three masked gunmen broke into her home in 2019. She moved away from her old house, and the plan never took shape.
She’s also considered IVF and adoption but doesn’t want to give up on carrying her own child. The actress spoke with The Sun, “If I think about it too much, I will literally go outside my house and grab the first bloke I can find to try and get pregnant.”
She had her first stillborn baby at the age of 23 and has since been trying. Aislyene became famous four years after that when she appeared on “Big Brother” on the 12th day of the show 16 years ago. She survived until the final day on Day 93 and finished 3rd place.
