She still had 2 shows in her schedule.
Diva Madonna has called off the rest of her concerts that have been planned to take place in Paris. These are her last concerts for her Madame X tour and they were to be held in Grand Rex. But a recent regulation by the authorities announced a gathering of more than 1,000 people are forbidden due to the severe outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
Grand Rex concert hall announced, “It is with profound regret that we are announcing the cancellation of the last two Madame X shows.” The venue has been rented for March 10 and 11 for the shows and holds up to 2,800 people.
Madonna’s tour began in New York and it took her to Chicago, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, Lisbon, and London. Paris was set as her last stopping point before finishing the tour up. But Covid-19 outbreak raced up to her schedule.
Before this, the 61-year-old had already performed in the same venue back in February before canceling a performance on the following evening due to ‘ongoing injuries’.
