Pregnant Woman Finds Her Husband’s Cheating, Bans Him From The Delivery Room

A pregnant woman has sparked mixed reactions online for banning her husband from the delivery room. The decision emerged as she discovered he cheated on her throughout pregnancy with one of his colleagues at work and taking to the popular Reddit ‘True Off My Chest,’ the woman revealed she’s in the middle of the divorce process. 

Notably, the OP and her husband had been trying for a child for a long time, and while the joy came through, unfortunately, it didn’t last long. 

Clarifying her relationship status, the woman wrote: “We are separated, and I’m waiting for the divorce to be finalized.” He cheated on me with someone he works with. We have been trying for a baby for three years, and when I told him that I was pregnant, he broke down and confessed. I asked for a divorce, and he moved out. He moved first in with MIL. “Now he lives with his AP.” 

She continued, “I’m due in December.” I don’t want him to be in the delivery room with me. “I’m not punishing him, but he isn’t my partner anymore.” 

While they will be arranging separate custody of the child, the woman insisted she doesn’t want her partner seeing her body and added: “When we break up with people, we don’t usually think it’s okay to show our bodies to them, isn’t that right?” “I just can’t have him with me.” Her husband and his relatives now consider her wicked, and the only one who supports her is her mother-in-law.

The man can arrive with all the other relatives in the hospital, but the delivery, in any case, will take place without him. 

The woman explained: “He is beside himself with grief, and everybody thinks I’m so wicked and evil now.” She concluded, asking community members: “How could I be so wrong about how to feel about my own body?” So far, the story has already racked up over 13.7K upvotes, and in the comments, people have assured the mom that her decision wasn’t hurtful and was far from wicked.

In an update, the woman thanked the vast majority who understood her plight and claimed it was a sign of relief. She stated, “I thought I was going mad with my high demands.” My MIL is the only one supporting me. Probably she is the one I’m having with me. I still haven’t decided if I wanted somebody in the delivery room with me but it would be her if anyone.” 

The woman again insisted she wasn’t going back to her ex-husband, even though she sometimes thinks it would be best for their child to have his parents. 

She clarified: “I’m not going back to my ex-husband even if I sometimes think it would be the best for our child to have his parents. He broke my trust but also, I have someone new in my life and it’s getting pretty serious. We’re planning on moving in together once everything is settled and I have had my baby.
