Madonna Says Her 16-Year-Old Son David Banda Wears Her Clothes And Looks Better In Them
Her new album is set for release on August 19th.
There’s another fashion star in the Madonna family; guess what, it’s her son David Banda. The 16-Year-Old has allegedly been wearing the pop icon clothes and looks much better in them than the 63-Year-Old. It comes as Madonna recently shared a clip of David wearing one of her flowing white dresses last month.
Accordingly, the Vogue hitmaker also revealed that the teen whom she adopted in 2006 at 13 months old is also working on his music.
“He can put on any outfit and look swag as you know what. It’s really irritating. He wears my clothes and looks better in them. He can even wear a dress and look butch,” Madonna said during an appearance on The Tonight Show with host Jimmy Fallon. Back in May, the mom-son had attended the WBA World Lightweight Championship in Adidas outfits.
The event held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn saw Madonna wearing a tracksuit, and David sported a red and white dress, necklaces, and black sneakers.
Of his music career, Madonna added: “He’s going to end up being one of your guests,” insisting David has everything needed to be a star. In response, Fallon agreed, stating: “He’s got it, He’s got magic. He’s funny; he’s charming, he’s athletic, he’s a good looking dude.” Apart from David, the singer adopted Mercy James, 16, from Malawi in 2009, followed by twins Stella and Estere in 2017.
While her career has spanned over five decades, Madonna, during the interview, said her reps had thought her career was over after an accidental backside flash in the early 1980s.
She told Fallon: “It happened by accident and when I didn’t even know my b*tt was showing. It wasn’t even like the whole b*tt it was just like a butt cheek, like half a b*tt cheek. Yeah, when I went backstage, my manager told me my career is over with.” Notably, she appeared on the show to promote her new album Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones, set for release on August 19th.
