Sam Hunt’s Pregnant Wife Files For Divorce Accusing Him Of Adultery
After nearly five years of marriage.
Sam Hunt’s wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, is pregnant and due in May. The couple never publicly announced they were expecting their child, but court documents seem to be unveiling some unknown situations to the public. Similarly, Hannah has officially filed for divorce, alleging that her husband, the county singer, has been cheating on her.
The 33-Year-Old now strongly believes that all hopes of reconciliation are exhausted.
According to the documents filed on Feb. 18 in Tennessee and obtained by the PEOPLE, Fowler claimed the “Take Your Time Singer, 37, is guilty of inappropriate marital conduct and guilty of adultery. She cites in the docs, per TMZ: “The husband is guilty of such cruel and inhuman treatment or conducts toward the spouse as renders cohabitation unsafe or improper.”
The Alabama-born nurse is requesting three different kinds of alimony, including transitional alimony, rehabilitative alimony, and alimony in future.”
Fowler is also seeking primary custody of their soon-to-be-born child and child support. She urged each party to be “awarded their respective separate property.”
However, the last time the “Body Like A Back Road” singer posted about his now-estranged wife was in April 2021, during their 4th wedding anniversary. He had captioned a slideshow featuring a throwback photo of Fowler kissing him and a more recent pic of the pair laughing, saying, “How it started. How it’s going. Happy Anniversary!”
Speaking with Miami radio station, Hunt had revealed he and Fowler were considering having children sooner than later.
At the time, he said: “We’ve really started to think about it seriously here these past few months, so that’s on the agenda right now. I am hoping we’ll have some good news sooner than later.” The couple had met in Alabama when the Take Your Time Singer was a linebacker for the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
And having dated on and off for several years, the pair reunited in 2016 before tying the knot in 2017 in an intimate ceremony in Georgia.
Hunt had told Entertainment Tonight in 2017 that the reunion took Fowler some convincing and that he traveled to Hawaii about seven times in three months in an attempt to talk to her about coming back. He claimed it was at his seventh trip; he finally convinced her. Interestingly, his debut album “Montevallo” is based on his relationship with Fowler. He did express himself in his 2017 song “Drinkin Too Much.”
