Woman Left With A CROOKED SMILE And A LISP After Botched Injections, Warns Others
“Don’t get Botox, please — lip fillers, fine, but don’t get Botox, please.”
A 21-year-old with a crooked mouth warns others against getting botox on the lips after hers went very wrong. Nikita Kimberly from the Netherlands shares on TikTok that she now has a lisp after her “Botox horror story” says that she’s got a botched work.
She says that when she doesn’t do anything, people wouldn’t be able to notice anything wrong.
But when she starts talking…
“I got Botox in my chin because I had a muscle that was that was working a bit too hard, so whenever I smiled, I had a dent in my chin,” said the 21-year-old. Yet, the injection didn’t work as intended.
“The Botox went and got into this side of my face, and as you can hear, I sometimes have a lisp now because I am biting my lip as I talk.”
“As long as I don’t talk or smile with my mouth open, I look fine. But once I smile or talk, my whole face gets crooked — and I normally didn’t have this.”
Nikita, who had gotten lip fillers before, said that the Botox had ruined her face’s symmetry because her “smile used to be kind of symmetrical.” But after the injection, no more.
“Don’t get Botox, please — lip fillers, fine, but don’t get Botox, please. Never.”
23 days later, she updated that it’s gotten a lot better. While you can still see the crook a little bit, she doesn’t have a lisp any more.
“My lips are looking pretty OK like they’ve gone down quite a bit, but I think they’re cute,” she said in the first update. “My lip is still a bit crooked, just a bit — quite a bit — but a lot less than it used to be.”
Almost three months later, she shared, “As you can see, it’s not as bad as it used to be.”
“It’s still a bit crooked, mostly when I relax my mouth when it’s open or when I talk quite outrageously, like with a lot of emotion. Otherwise, it’s not that noticeable,” she shared in the latest update on Christmas day.
Several users shared they’ve never had this happen to them, but it does serve as a fair warning.
