“I Let My 13-Year-Old Brother Watch Me Give Birth And People Say It’s Weird”

After being heavily slammed, Jaycee Elizabeth has defended her decision to allow her 13-Year-Old brother to watch as she gave birth. A TikTok clip had shown her teen brother watching as she delivered her second child. Most people dubbed it weird, but Jaycee has said she’s proud of him. 

Jaycee Elizabeth responds to critics for allowing her 13-Year-Old brother to watch as she gave birth.

She disclosed how she had been in labor for 30hours, and her brother asked to be in the room when she started pushing. Jaycee explained she had no problem with the request and so gladly invited him in. The clip was captioned: “I’m so proud my brother wanted to watch his nephew being born, and he did better than some grown men!”

Jaycee explained that her brother had asked to be in the room as she gave birth to her second child.

As seen in the video filmed Jaycee’s sister, the teen watched closely in what appeared like a state of concern and shock as his sister had the baby. An overlaid text reads: “Throwback to when my younger brother asked to watch me give birth. He was so concerned the entire time. He watched the entire two hours I pushed and said he didn’t know extra stuff came out with the baby!”

And as seen in the clip, the teen, 13, did a lot of face rubbing and looked quite concerned most of the time.

He watched the entire two hours anxiously as Jaycee pushed the baby out.

This video has since been watched over 10million times and garnered a lot of comments. While most people weren’t convinced about the act, a few were impressed and blown away by the teen’s maturity and closeness as a family. In an updated clip, Jaycee responded to some messages she received about her brother. 

You will agree that the teen handled the situation maturely and did way better than some grown men.

The mom-of-two claimed she didn’t expect the video of her brother watching her give birth to go viral, adding that she had over ten people in the room, a mix of family and hospital staff, because she didn’t mind. It was her second birth, so it wasn’t super intimate between herself and her husband, but she had loved all of the family’s support.

But of course, it turned out that he didn’t know ‘extra stuff comes out with a baby!

“He was 13, almost 14, and that video is almost two years old, so for those of you who think it’s weird or thinks that we shouldn’t have. It’s done. There’s no turning back. It’s also OK that you think that it’s weird. You don’t have to do that by any means. No, my brother didn’t have a bullseye view.” Jaycee explained.

However, Jaycee insisted she was so proud of her brother and didn’t think it was weird at all.

She continued: “He was off towards the front right of the bed, and as you can see, he was standing right next to the door, so had he wanted to leave at any time, he easily could have. I didn’t force him to be there, he genuinely asked, and me and my mum agreed. He behaved amazingly, and I am very proud of him.”

The mom-of-two insisted that she would do it again if she and her husband were ever going to have another child.

“I don’t regret the experience at all, and none of us think it’s weird whatsoever.” Jaycee further insisted he’s an absolutely amazing uncle and that all of his nephews love him, all over him all the time, and would do it again if she and her husband were ever going to have another child.
