51-Year-Old Woman Gives Birth To Her First Grandchild

Children are endlessly a burden on mothers. A mother only has to experience the agony of childbirth once per child, but a mother has shown she’s gone through it all again, having given birth to her daughter’s daughter. A mother’s love undeniably takes numerous forms, and for Julie Loving, it truly meant giving the life of motherhood to Daughter Breanna Lockwood and Husband Aaron.

With the assistance of an emergency C-section, Julie safely delivered Granddaughter named Briar Juliette Lockwood at a hospital situated in Illinois. Her daughter, Breanna, had struggled with fertility for years, but indeed were by Julie’s side all through the moment. ‘My mom was an absolute rockstar through a difficult delivery. The sacrifices she took to bring this little slice of heaven into our world takes my breath away.’ Breanna said. She added that her mom had completed multiple Boston Marathons and was super into health and fitness.

Sharing baby Briar photos online, the new mom admitted that holding her daughter is making her heart bursting. The Chicago couple – Breanna and Aaron, had been trying effortlessly to get pregnant right after their wedding. They’ve undergone seven surgical procedures; four failed embryo transfers, a single and twin miscarriage, an ectopic pregnancy, and three rounds of harvesting eggs.

Breanna had often shared her devastating struggle on both her Instagram and Facebook pages, admitting that infertility trials and tribulations are the most challenging venture she had to face in life. In June 2020, Breanna wowed her followers after sharing a photo of Mother Julie at seventeen weeks pregnant. She had captioned the photo: ‘My beautiful mom is carrying her first grandchild, Aaron, and my biological child, as a gestational carrier.’

While surrogacy in the United States cost an estimated $100,000 with laws varying between states, Julie did go through a series of health tests to know if she could qualify to be a surrogate. Julie, a mom-of-two, experienced being turned down by multiple reproductive doctors, but her healthy and active lifestyle successfully convinced a few who agreed she could carry the child. What love can be compared to that of a mother?
