Back in the days, we’d think the year Stephen Hawking died was one of the worst. The year when hurricane Katrina thoroughly destroyed some areas was a horrible one. But there has never been a year, no, a decade, much like this one. The year 2020 is seriously one that is scaring a lot of us.
If you have seen pictures of Australia’s wildfire earlier this year, you know what to expect here. Red sky, awful air, fire, decimated land. And the fire is not done in California. Everyone wishes these are just nightmares and the pictures were edited. But they are very real pictures of hell on earth.
It was not so long ago did we say earth was finally healing.
It looks like an apocalypse is near.
People need to KNOW.
Does it matter if it’s day or night?
An impending hell.
This is Oregon Coast, 9 am, hundreds of miles away from the fire.
A red sky looms over people.
A dreadful morning.
If the world was to burn down.
If only this was filtered.
Praying for your safety.
Wake me up when it’s all over.
How to skip 2020.
Barack Obama has spoken.
This is fine.
Listen to evacuation orders, people!
Climate fires.
We’ve taken sunlight for granted.
We need the fire to stop.
Watch as the red sky reminds us of a dying land.
A beauty to behold. A force to fear.
It was my day off and I wanted to visit my boyfriend, but I had to turn around from the portal to hell.
My world is red, one month away before my baby arrived.
Is this still the same city?
Oregon Cascades. Debris, ashes, all over the road.
Unexpected relocation overnight.
It is Mars.
It’s 8 am, a view from a place surrounded by 4 fires.
