Nobody ever asked for it. It’s all in your head.

Does it make sense that you rob someone because you could see their money in their wallet? But apparently, there are men who think women deserve to get groped for revealing some skin. Or for having normal, functioning body parts.

Harriet Bowley doesn’t put up with that crap, though: she made it clear to a groper a few nights ago.

The man had the audacity to look confused. Sir, you don’t touch women you don’t know, then act as if they deserve it.

Unless she had a “Please touch me” banner plastered on her forehead, you don’t touch strangers, even your friends, around those areas. Ever.

And, of course, there’s always the victim blamers.

Regardless of what she wore, in fact, even if she wore nothing at that moment, that doesn’t give anybody the right to touch her. You don’t do what people never asked you to do on their bodies; how is this concept so hard to understand?

Harriet made it clear that she was covering her lower area with her jumper, and it wasn’t revealing it anyway. Yet, men once again proved their own argument wrong because she was still groped.

It was a club. She had her body covered. Yet, some men and their hands… who proceed to use their decade-old false truth.

This experience happens to both men and women, but the statistics are skewed unevenly towards women. One in five women in the United States experienced completed or attempted rape during their lifetime, according to the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC).

Nationwide, 81% of women have gone through a form of sexual assault or harassment. For men, the number is 43%. Unfortunately, only 25% of them were reported in 2018.

There are way too many similar experiences, and people, especially men, need to stop this!

Even men are angered by these actions. These must change.
