Woman Saw A Young Mom Struggling To Pay For A Single Slice Of Cake For Her Son’s Bday And Surprised Her

Just recently, 22-Year-Old Bianca spotted a young mom struggling to purchase a slice of cake for her son’s birthday. Moved by the situation, Bianca standing in a queue at an H-E-B Supermarket, Texas, instantly decided to make the mom and son happy.

Particularly, the whole scene had made Bianca think about her mom, who had struggled to raise her and her brother. Bianca admits her mom never let it show and kept them from it instead. Inspired for kindness due to the memory, Bianca grabbed candles, target and gas gifts cards, and ran after the mom.

Bianca standing in a queue at an H-E-B Supermarket, Texas witnessed the struggling mom returning pack of candles and other items when the total came up to $5.57

Bianca explained: ‘She had a baby and a little brother with her, she was buying a birthday cake with a pack of candles. The total came up to $5.57. She looked around and pulled out 2 dollars and then started counting out change. The mom said I have to make sure I will still $2 or so for gas, and her little boy replied, it’s okay, mom, I don’t need a birthday cake.’

‘We need gas so I can get to school. I could tell the mom felt completely defeated. She put back the candles, everyone in line heard and saw what was going on, but no one said anything.’ Bianca revealed what transpired after running to the woman with a pack of candles, target, and gas gift cards. Ma’am, you dropped something.’ Bianca said.

The mom shook her head and replied that she wished it was her, but sadly, it wasn’t. ‘Yes, it’s yours. It’s yours because I got it for you. Please take this Target gift card and get your son a birthday present. I want you to take this gift card and put gas in your car. Fill the whole tank. I want you to take these candles, and when your son is about to blow them out, I want you to make a wish too.’ Bianca said to the mom.

According to Bianca, the woman was so grateful, which prompted leaving her phone number and asking the mom to call if she ever needs anything. ‘Everyone has not my problem, not my business mindset. Slowly along the way, we have forgotten it takes a village to raise a child.’ Bianca added. Nonetheless, she was met with a text message filled with honest gratitude, and truthfully kindness is making a small gesture a positive impact on someone’s life.
