Do you perceive this as toxic?

Sofia Franklyn goes viral for revealing she sends herself anonymous drinks when on first dates.

Sofia does this by going to the bar and asking the staff to send over a drink from a supposed admirer. “When I go to the bathroom and pay the bartender to send me an anonymous shot, so my date remembers I have options,” her overlaid text read.

A few weren’t entirely convinced by the idea, pointing out they couldn’t go through the awkwardness of asking a bartender to help. One person asked: “How is this not embarrassing to ask for OMG I don’t I could? Another said: “Why is this not considered toxic?” But then, some people argued there was no shame in it whatsoever, with several bartenders coming forward to say they’d be happier to join in.

A few people said they had been legitimately sent a drink rather than ordering one on the sly.
