Woman In China Launches Hunt For Missing Boyfriend Only To Find He’s Back With His Wife And Kids

China-based Rachael Waters had assumed her partner went missing, but she finally discovered the truth behind his absence. Rachael had her heart shattered when she found her BF, Mr. Paul McGee, had been with his family in Norwich since his visit to the UK in April. She learned about his marital affair after embarking on an international search for him. 

Rachael is a South Carolina brand manager from the US who moved to Shenzhen, China, in 2019.

She had earlier sent a message to residents, six weeks after his departure, on a Facebook group titled ‘Norwich Community,’ hoping to get clues about her missing boyfriend’s whereabouts. She expressed her concern that something might have happened to Mr. Paul and showed off a picture of them both taken in China.

Her post on the Facebook group began: “I have an unusual ask. My boyfriend, Paul Magee, and I live in Shenzhen, China.”

Rachael continued: “He went home (Norwich) at the beginning of April to visit and was supposed to be back in China by now. However, I have not heard from him recently and am worried something might have happened. If anyone knows of anything, please reach out to me.” To her shock, a friend of Paul’s partner came across the post and exposed he is a married man with children. 

He replied:  “Not really funny is it. He has a Mrs. and children and I really feel for her right now! And another girlfriend in China it seems.“

However, an acquaintance of Mr. Paul and his wife told The Sun the couple hadn’t seen each other for two years. The friend added: “He recently returned, and they sort of got back together. They have been separated and got children. They’ve thought, “Let’s give it another go.” On the other hand, Rachael, who regularly posts hilarious dating fails on her YouTube, has subsequently removed them.
