Woman Horrified After Temporary ‘Skeleton Face’ Tattoo Won’t Come Off After Halloween
She vigorously scrubbed the skeleton face tattoo but nothing came off.
Elizabeth Rose currently feels like a bonehead. The 46-Year-Old found herself in an awkward situation after her temporary skeleton face tattoo for Halloween wouldn’t wash off. She took to TikTok to share the hilarious blunder while she also sought tips on how to have the tattoo erased.
Interestingly, the North Somerset-based also popped the tattoo on her seven-year-old granddaughter.
“Put a tattoo sticker on, join in a bit of Halloween, you know? Put some on my granddaughter as well, she’s seven and my daughter rings up going ‘Has it come off?” Well, it can’t be that difficult, surely?” Rose, with the username @alliwanttodoismile, said in the clip, which has garnered over a 1.4million views.

The grandma was seen as she picked up a cotton pad to scrub the side of her face vigorously but the tattoo was budging.
Rose also tried to scrub the tattoo on her forehead but again it wouldn’t come off. “F**k sake. I have meetings tomorrow. I swear to god.” She lamented as the video concluded. Thankfully, her audience shared some tips on how to remove the tattoo. One person said ‘anything alcohol-based, hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol or you could just drink it and forget all the tattoos.”
Rose responded to the advice, saying: “Haha awesome idea!!!”
Another wrote: “I know it’s your face but nail varnish remover will take this off.” A third joked: “Look brilliant, I’m sure the people at your meeting will see the funny side,” to which Rose replied: “They just thought I had a lot of blusher on.” In an updated clip, she showed her clean face, saying she managed to remove the entire fake tattoo using Garnier’s water cleanser.
“I literally look like I’ve been slapped in the face 10 times by Will Smith,” Rose joked referencing her VERY red and irritated skin.

To see just how effective other methods of removing temporary tattoos are, Rose applied another tattoo and used packaging tape. It worked like a charm and all she did was a stick and peel the tape on her skin over and over again. Each time, the tape lifted the section of the tattoo completely. However, she stated she’ll never try nail polish remover again and that olive oil was rubbish.
