Kendall Jenner Faces Backlash After Donning A Controversial Toy Story Costume For Halloween
It’s penned that Kendall was ruining the children’s movie with the look.
Kendall, the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner Clan, had heads turning as she sported a Toy Story-inspired costume to celebrate Halloween. The model dressed up as the popularly known cowgirl Jessie from the Pixar film franchise, rocking cow print chaps over dark-wash denim hot pants.
The 26-Year-Old donned the costume for a party in Los Angeles with Sister Kylie Jenner.
Kendall flaunted her svelte frame as she teamed up the look with an ultra-cropped shirt and switched up her raven locks for a copper wig, as seen in a snap on Instagram. The model later styled her hair into two braids underneath the hat in more shots. “Well, aren’t you the sweetest space toy,” she captioned the pics on Instagram.
Some of her 262M followers have taken to the comments to share their disapproval.
It’s alleged the model was ‘ruining the children’s movie.’ A few also stressed that the costume was skin-bearing. “Why sexualize a character that is for children?? Seriously, why??” someone wrote. While another added: “This is ridiculous. It’s Halloween and you’re just s*xualizing an aged child’s character.”
Kendall’s sisters might not have gone the cartoon-character route as Kylie had opted for Bride of Frankenstein.
The founder of Kylie cosmetics posted several black and white photos of herself in a few variations of the costume on a recreation of the 1935 film set. Accordingly, Kim Kardashian dressed as the mutant Mystique from the ‘X-Men’ Franchise, wearing a skin-tight blue bodysuit with a faux-scaly finish. The 41-Year-Old topped the transformation with bright yellow contacts and a red wig.
