Woman Fell In Love With A Homeless Man Who Carried Her Shopping Bags And Is Now Married With Two Kids

Jasmine Grogan is a happily married wife with two kids. Her husband, Macaulay Murchie, has a “really good job” but most people probably won’t believe her when she tells them how she first met him.

Macauley Murchie was a homeless man years ago, sitting outside a supermarket that Jasmine went to. The man had rejected a kind donation offer from the woman and instead, helped her out with her grocery bags. That was how their relationship began.

“Met a homeless man one day doing my food shopping. Offered him money but he wouldn’t accept it. I went inside [and] continued to do my shop and couldn’t stop thinking about him,” she told her story.

“I went outside and asked if I could help him anyway, he said no. He asked if I wanted help putting my shopping into a taxi, I said yes,” she continued.

The two talked after Jasmine was done with her shopping and she even took him out for a dinner. She also bought her “a little phone” as she felt “something different” in him.

Jasmine and the man exchanged contact info and began texting. She still remembers the first text her husband sent her: “You’ve made my day, thank you so much for everything, you are amazing. Can’t stop thinking about you xx.”

She replied, “You don’t have to thank me, I can’t get you out of my mind either.”

Their relationship grew and continued and finally, the two got married after she gave him a chance. The man shaved, cut his hair, and even landed a “really good job” after getting back on his feet.

She gushed over the man who was “so nice” to her all the time and “couldn’t imagine doing it now without him.”

Jasmine concluded, “Was the best decision I ever made.”
