Woman Cried Blue Tears As She Went Blind From Inking Her Eyeballs

A tattoo model who couldn’t stop herself from upping her tattoo game further and further revealed what tattooing her eyeball was like. And the model could not gloss over the temporary pain and trouble she went into for the exquisite look.

Amber Luke said that the blue tattoo in her eyes made her go blind temporarily as she cried blue tears.

Speaking about it to The Daily Star, Amber said that she got the procedure around five years ago when she was still in her early 20s. The Australian model shared that the tattoo artist botched the job and the New South Wales woman suffered the side effect to this day.

She’d even cried blue tears after the incident and throughout her decade-long journey with inking, it was one of her most “brutal” procedures ever.

The aftermath left her “completely incapable” to be independent and to commemorate the incident, she wrote an excerpt under her Instagram post. She wrote, “It’s been five years since I lost my sight for three weeks and was completely incapable of being an independent person.”

“The torturous procedure had me endure four syringe injections into each of my eyeballs (if done correctly – only supposed to be two injections). I cried blue tears for two days after the procedure was performed. (botched).”

Amber began exploring tattoos at the age of 14 and has spent over $90,000 on body modifications.

She got herself a tattoo of a woman with blue tears and wrote, This tattoo on my ribs done by my main @missbreezeartist – who absolutely nailed the concept on the head. Thanks for your time.

Recalling what it was like, Amber spoke in an interview in 2019, “I can’t even begin to describe to you what the feeling was like, the best thing I can give you is once the eyeball was penetrated with the ink, it felt like [the tattoo artist] grabbed 10 shards of glass and rubbed it in my eye.”

“That happened four times per eye, that was pretty brutal. Unfortunately, my artist went too deep into my eyeball.”

“If your eyeball procedure’s done correctly, you’re not supposed to go blind at all. I was blind for three weeks. That was pretty brutal.”

It definitely served as a scare for the model who swore off extreme body modifications after the incident, but she won’t be stopping herself to get new tattoos on her skin.
