Woman Brust into Tears After Matching Butterfly Tattoo Looks ‘X-Rated’
Hilarious enough, it looked a lot like the reference she used.
Alaina Nicole, a TikTok user who goes by the handle name @lanicole001 went viral when she showed her tattoo with tears running down her cheeks. She cried in the posted video because the supposedly matching butterfly tattoos she and her best friend got looked X-rated instead, clearly regretting what happened.
“When you try to get cute matching bestie tattoos and you get two limp d****s instead!” she captioned her viral post.
She then revealed that she’d spent the last hour crying about the result of the tattoos after the buddies went to the tattoo parlor. As the story blew up, she decided to share the background story of her reason for getting the tattoos.
“Long story short, when we were on vacation, me and my best friend wanted to get matching tattoos.
“We did look up the shop, we did research on it, and we know people who have got work done there, [so] it was a reputable shop,” she continued. “I just want to preface by saying we don’t blame the artist, we don’t blame the shop, unfortunately, we had a bad experience, but nothing against them.”
“But on the flip side to that, I don’t think there’s any way that the artist didn’t know what it looked like before. Clearly, it wasn’t a butterfly, and we knew that as soon as we saw them as we walked out of the shop.”
“The first picture I saw of it was in the video, and I started sobbing.”
“I cried for probably an hour after I saw the tattoo on my arm. We flew home Saturday night, Sunday morning and immediately got them covered. Because everyone we called that day to show the tattoo to agreed that it did not look like a butterfly.”
“We knew we had to get it off of our bodies. We found an amazing artist who covered it up very last minute,” she continued before further gushing over the result that now looks more like “an actual butterfly.”
“We do still have our matching best friend tattoos and a great story to laugh about some day when it’s finally funny – because when it happened it for sure was not.”
