Woman Applauded For Confronting Creepy Old Man Staring At Her In The Gym
“He shut up real quick.”
A personal trainer has received support and applause for how she handled a creepy man who was caught staring at her. It’s one thing to casually look at fellow gym-users as you’re taking breaks, but you will feel equally fed up as this trainer once you see what the guy did.
Heidi Argon took steps to confront an old man she noticed was staring at her while she was working out.
Captioning the video, she wrote, “This creepy old guy at the gym kept coming over and staring at me.” The video began with the man in green making his way over to the equipment right behind Heidi.
She decided to call her husband over to workout with her to deter the man.
Despite seeing the woman’s husband, the man did not stop with his stares, and Heidi took another step: staring back at him to let him know she was fully aware of what he was doing. She continued, “I thought he got the picture. I attempted to do my set.”
“Then I got fed up and went over and addressed him,” she wrote in the clip that’s been watched over 7.6 million times.

But Heidi was prepared, “I then told him I record my workouts and I have him on film. He shut up real quick.”
“Don’t sit there and tell me you’re not doing something when I have proof.”
There were several commentators attempting to excuse the man’s behavior, which definitely was unacceptable. One wrote, “Why are some of y’all excusing his behavior-“
“Why do men assume if we are in public, they are allowed to stare at us like this? We don’t exist for you to fantasize about,” wrote another.
One woman commented, “How is it her fault? 1) She’s actually fully clothed. 2) He was only staring at her even when she was just standing. Like huh??”
