Will Smith Fans Are Blaming Jada Smith For Inevitable Bankruptcy
The Oscar-winner is a hostage in the eyes of public.
Will Smith had defined his act as a defense for Jada Pinkett Smith against Chris Rock’s joke. But it didn’t take long for the public to be completely turned off that ‘The King Richard’ actor had let loose against the comedian while his wife laughed at him.
Chris Rock cracked a ‘G.I. Jane’ joke and pointed at Jada on stage, who rolled her eyes. It was followed by Will Smith walking up the stage to smack the man.
With the public’s reception entering the negative zone rapidly, producers have been reconsidering his involvement in their movies. Since the controversy, the actor has also remained silent except for that one time he apologized for his violent outburst.
While Smith showed regrets for his actions later, he’s been banned from any future Academy events for the next 10 years.
The silence has been deafening for many who want to hear more from the man regarding the incident. Both he and Chris Rock remained quiet regarding the slap, but the internet hasn’t stopped discussing it. And while they’re at it, they’ve also called out Jada Pinkett Smith for being the trigger.
Fans have also likened her existence to that of Amber Heard who’s just lost her defamation lawsuit against Johnny Depp.
It revved up people to address the possibility of Smith being abused by his wife.
Jada, who’s suffering from alopecia, said on Red Table Talk, “My deepest hope is that these two intelligent capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out, and reconcile.”
“The state of the world today; we need them both. And we all actually need one another more than ever. Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we’ve done for the last 28 years, and that’s to keep figuring out this thing called life together.”
His fans have also been using the #SaveWillSmith tag as a support for the actor.
