In this story, the mentioned above is slightly the case. A waitress was recently left with no faith in humanity after a customer wrote ‘Learn To Smile’ on the bottom of a receipt. The United States Waitress had worn a face mask as she adhered to the rules and regulations of COVID-19. Hence, her facial expressions weren’t even visible.

The customer’s note was paired with an awful tip. It’s customary in a place like the US to tip at most 15% of the bill, but this customer only left $6 on top of a $75 meal. The waitress uploaded the receipt to Reddit and went on to explain how she got COVID from work.

‘I got COVID from work a few months ago. It kind of f**** up my body, and still, I have to deal with people like this fairly often. It really kills my motivation and faith in humanity sometimes, lol.’ The waitress explained. Instantly, internet users were left unimpressed and felt sorrier for testing positive for COVID-19. ‘You are putting your health and possibly life at risk for your job, something most people never do.’ A user said.

A second user added: ‘I am sorry about this. Some people are horrible and will never change. I hope the next day brings a better thing for you. Hang in there and thank you for your work.’A third stated: ‘I, unfortunately, see this s***** attitude a lot with people my age (40s). Really sorry this happened to you.’ Nevertheless, the waitress did appreciate people for their concern and admitted it’s quite unfortunately common.
