Vegan Woman Left ‘Traumatized’ After Mistakenly Ate Three Bites Of KFC Chicken

A Vegan woman has claimed she was humiliated by KFC Staff who mistakenly served her a chicken burger and then laughed hilariously at her for eating it.  

Vanessa Franco, a mother ordered what she thought was the new vegan Burger, but was left traumatized when she took three bites before realizing something wasn’t right.

Complaining to the store staff, Vanessa claimed they started laughing about her trouble before replacing her burger with an unevenly cooked burger.

Vanessa from Pollards Hill, South London recently turned Vegan and has been a life-long vegetarian.

‘I realized it tasted different. I had to drive back to KFC and asked them to confirm if it was a vegan burger. The girl who served me told me it was a chicken fillet burger and then called her colleague who told me to come inside. ’Vanessa explained.

‘The colleague said if I took bites out of it then why I didn’t observe it was a chicken burger. I then reiterated I have been a vegetarian my whole life.’ Vanessa added.

With her baby all asleep at the back seat of her car, Vanessa intended carrying on the conversation in the drive-thru, but she admitted staff insisted she come inside.

‘I went in with him, but I had to wake him up. The manager then came out and gave me a vegan burger and didn’t apologize but laughed and said: ‘You should have observed it was chicken.’ All of the staff stood there and stared at me. I really felt humiliated. I was rendered speechless and couldn’t express how horrible their customer service was.’ Vanessa continued.

‘This isn’t great and we are honestly sorry for what has happened. Our Vegan burger launched in January and we took its release very seriously, putting in place strict processes to ensure it’s served properly, including the usage to separate colored tongs as well as storage units.’ KFC said.
