Vegan Activist Killed Nearly 90 Newborn Rabbits During Her ‘Rescue Mission’
What a tragic scenario.
Vegan activist, Mythical Mia since embarking on her ‘animal rescue’ mission, has a saved a total of 16 rabbits from a Spanish farm situated in Osona, Catalonia. However, the Barcelona-based has been slammed by residents who claim more than 90 rabbits had to be euthanized due to Mia’s action.
Also, Mia was allegedly shot at by angry farmers, and as seen in a clip shared to Instagram, the activist was covered in blood as she tells the camera bullets had broken a car window causing her to be sprayed with glass. Mia explained she had left the site peacefully in the clip before the farmers chased and her fellow campaigners down the motorway.

Mia equally claimed police refused to escort them home and that ten minutes later, one of the farmer’s cars pulled up alongside her and opened fire. “The window exploded in my face, and there was a lot of blood from all the glass. Despite everything, I am just happy that those 16 lives are free from harm. They make everything worth it.” She said.

According to the newspaper La Vanguradia, the rabbits taken by Mia had just given birth, meaning their offspring were left without the care of their mothers. Five other pregnant rabbits allegedly passed away due to the intrusion, while others reportedly suffered broken spines and miscarried due to stress.
Mia and her fellow campaigners got chased down the motorway and were allegedly shot at by angry farmers.
The publication reports that before Mia’s arrival, the farm had 3000 rabbits, with an estimated 700 believed to be around three days old. Also reacting, a spokeswoman for Catalonia Police spoke of the incident. “On Sunday, September 1 at 7:30 p.m., a group of activists entered a farm in Gurb, Osona and took 14 rabbits,” The title of the release reads.
It added: “When Mossos d’Esquadra (autonomous police force of Catalonia) arrived at the site, the activists were outside. The 14 rabbits have not been found. There were some farmers at the scene, and there was tension between the two groups. Mossos separated them and escorted them from the premises to avoid further conflict.”
“We were inside that farm for less than 5 minutes, and we only touched the rabbits who we rescued, who are all doing fine now.”
“Just before 11 p.m., we were informed that one of the widows of an activist’s car had suffered an impact and that a girl had injuries to her face as a result of the broken glass. The window was most likely struck by a forceful object due to the nature of the impact, rather than a short from a shotgun.”

So far, Mia has denied causing the death of any rabbits, dubbing it false information and insisting that she only touched the rescued rabbits. She added: “We were inside that farm for less than5 minutes, and we only touched the rabbits who we rescued, who are all doing fine now, despite being very sick when rescued due to the filthy living conditions at that farm. We didn’t leave any babies without their mothers as we only rescued young ones. We had a professional vet on-site with us the whole time.”
