Twin Sisters, 30, Give Birth To Baby Boys On The Same Day
Both had the same weight and height.
Identical twin sisters Jill Justiniani and Erin Cheplak welcomed their newborn sons at the same hospital but five hours apart on the same day on, May 5th. Jill welcomed baby Oliver James at 6:39 p.m., and her sister Erin welcomed Silas James at 11:31 p.m.
Interestingly, both babies have the same birth weight of 7.3lbs and height of 50.8cms tall.
The sisters had planned to get pregnant simultaneously but never expected to welcome their children within hours of each other. Jill had been scheduled for a cesarean section at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Anaheim on May 5th because Oliver was found to be in a breech position, lying feet first.
Erin wasn’t due to give birth until May 15, but her water eventually broke on the same day as Jill.
According to the PEOPLE, Jill insisted the situation felt like it was supposed to be, adding that “It is a little surprising because what are the odds? But it’s like, of course, this would happen to us.” Erin also shared how she told her husband, Zach, that her water just broke, he needed to come to take her to labor and delivery, and it was no joke.
