Tristan Thompson Apologizes To Girlfriend Khloe Kardashian After Paternity Result
He’s now a father of three.
NBA star Tristan Thompson has taken to social media to apologize for the weeks of back and forth with Maralee Nichols over her claim of carrying his son. The 30-year-old had just dropped True, the daughter he shares with ex Khloe Kardashian, an hour before confirming that Maralee Nichols was indeed carrying his son.
The father-of-three posted a series of apologies on his Instagram story.
“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son,” he wrote.
“Khloe, you don’t deserve this,” the Sacramento Kings player apologized profusely to his ex. “My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you.”
He stated that he’s also taken his apologies privately to those involved.
Maralee Nichols, a 31-year-old fitness celebrity, gave birth to a son for Tristan on December 1.
The mother-of-one claimed that the baby was conceived on the night of Tristan’s birthday celebration in Houston in March 2021.
In a written statement, Tristan confirmed having spent a night with the model during the time when he was trying to get back with Khloe Kardashian.
The court documents that Nichols filed demanded child support that included pregnancy costs, but the model later said that she did not ask for financial coverage for “before our child was born.”
She’s also filed a proof of Tristan offering her money to abort the baby and claiming he won’t be involved in the baby’s life. The message read, “You know how I feel. My feelings haven’t changed at all. Won’t be involved at all. Btw if you think having this baby is gonna make you some money. It’s completely wrong,”
Meanwhile, 37-year-old mom to True, Khloe Kardashian, says she’s “upset” that “he cheated again.”
“She just can’t believe that he is going to be a dad again,” a source told People. The source said that Khloe had been warned against taking Tristan back by her friends, but she got back together with him because she “believed that he would change.”
