Tom Hanks has an important word to say to people not wearing protective masks amid the pandemic situation across the United States.
Hanks, 63 Year-Old and wife Rita Wilson had contracted the deadly virus in March, as he was about working on Baz Luhrmann, a new movie. The couple were kept in isolation and treated before returning back to the US.
Amid a recent press conference, the legendary actor couldn’t hold back his words, encouraging people to do their part in the fight against the deadly virus. ‘There are just three things that can be done to have a tomorrow: social distancing, wash your hands properly, and put on a face mask.’ Hanks explained.

‘These things are so simple easy. If no one can find themselves practicing these 3 basic things. I wholeheartedly think its shame on you. Try not to be a p**k, get on with it, and do your part effectively.’ The actor added.
Speaking about his personal ordeal, the actor revealed he doesn’t know how he and wife Wilson contracted the deadly virus and went on to explain that majority of the hospital isolation was required for precautions and importantly to ensure that he and Wilson didn’t spread the virus. And just recently, Hanks donated his plasma because it contains antibodies that can assist in the fight against the COVID-19.
Nevertheless, more and more high profile celebrities, including Jennifer Aniston, who admitted putting on face masks aren’t a debate are persuading their follower and everyone else to take personal care of themselves while reducing the spread of the deadly virus.
