'The Try Guys' Confirms Ned Fulmer is No Longer Part Of The Group After He Cheated On His Wife

The YouTube comedy troupe “The Try Guys” has announced Ned Fulmer is no longer part of the team after he cheated on his wife with a colleague, Alexandria Herring. The group’s Twitter & Instagram accounts have unfollowed Fulmer, while their profile pictures, which used to feature cartoons of all the members, are now the company logo.

“Ned Fulmer is no longer working with the Try Guys,” the Try Guys wrote in a public statement.

Notably, photos on Reddit by user hamilton390 had allegedly shown Fulmer kissing Herring in a New York City bar. The group added: “As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a path forward together. We thank you for your support as we navigate this change.”

Another Redditor pointed out they had seen Fulmer and Herring attending a Harry Styles concert on Sept. 1.

Following the Reddit posts, Herring’s fiancé Will Thayer has turned his Instagram private, while Fulmer and Herring have unfollowed each other. YB Chang, the Try Guys video editor, has accordingly unfollowed both of them and shared the announcement of Fulmer’s departure on her Instagram: “I know things are crazy right now but thank you for your support.”

Jake La Rosa, who previously managed the Try Guys’ second channel, took to TikTok to post about the scandal.

“My last day was Friday,” reads the caption on the video, which shows Jake holding up Ned and Ariel’s Date Night Cookbook and writing, “Good morning to everyone except Adam Levine, John Mulaney, and….” On Twitter, Try Guys is the top trending topic on the platform, with fans sharing their reactions to the news.

Fulmer has long dedicated content to his marriage. His wife, Ariel Fulmer [pictured], is a staple personality on the Try Guy’s channel.

Ariel had been featured in Try DIY With Ned & Ariel and Try Wives. Videos. She also cohosted the podcast Baby Steps and coauthored the Date Night cookbook. Ariel has since appreciated everyone who has reached out, stating: “Nothing is more important to me and Ned than our family, and all we request right now is that you respect our privacy for the sake of our kids.”

The birth of Ariel and Fulmer’s first son, Wesley, had been documented on YouTube, amassing over 15milion views.

Fulmer, who built his brand as one of the internet’s Wife Guys, has also released a statement: “Family should have always been my priority, but I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship. I am sorry for any pain my actions may have caused to the guys and the fans, most of all to Ariel.”

Along with Eugene Lee Yang, Keith Habersberger, and Zach Kornfeld, Fulmer created the Try Guys while working as a BuzzFeed video producer in 2014.
