‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ By Margaret Atwood Sequel Book Is Out

The story is finished.

‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ shocking dystopian world that shows the peril of the few fertile ones has put everyone at the edge of their seats. That was 35 years ago when Margaret Atwood imagined if humans pushed themselves to the brink of extinction and our species lose our fertility.

The book has already been adapted into a series which has entered the third season with the same title as the book. Elizabeth Moss accurately portrayed how the handmaiden waved through the sickening paternal theocracy.

The book continues 15 years after the last novel and was actually previewed by some people under a false title and author name. But Booker Prize was already shortlisting the book a week before its release. And on September 10, there will be a live broadcast of Atwood’s interview in 1,300 cinemas.

Atwood has allowed three journals and therefore, narrators, to color the books with grim and suspense stories of their life. Aunt Lydia with her Machiavellian attitude and two other women who were raised in Gilead and Canada narrated their journey. There were fewer details on how particular the men were towards the red-cloaked handmaidens.

What was the fuel for continuing the story? She answered it.

‘Dear Readers: Everything you’ve ever asked me about Gilead and its inner workings is the inspiration for this book. Well, almost everything! The other inspiration is the world we’ve been living in.’
