Teacher Stumbled Upon Baby Bears ‘Dancing’ In Finland Forest, Thinks He’s Visualizing Them
Have you ever come across bears?
Valtteri Mulkahainen, a physical education teacher from Sotkamo, Finland has been devoting a lot of his leisure time to photography. Valtteri shoots his country’s wildlife and has been capturing several magical moments for the past six years. Here’s a story about one of those moments!
Valtteri planned on exploring the Finnish taiga around the town of Martinselkonen on the 3rd of June 2013 and surprisingly observed a bear coming into a clearing with other small cubs.

‘The cubs acted like little children, but were playing and even had friendly fights. It was like I was on a playground in front of my house, surrounded by little children. At one point, three bears started pushing each other and stood up on their hind legs. It was a dance in the circle moment.” Valtteri told Bored Panda.
Valtteri was in a shelter 50 meters 164 feet away from the heartwarming moment and had the perfect outlook. He added: “I captured the cubs with the bear all evening and all night.”
Bumping into a bear is pretty easier in Finland as compared to the Aland Islands. Many of the bears reside in the Eastern part of the country and in Lapland. Citizens regularly see these beautiful creatures in the Western and in Southern areas as well.
With the cubs proving all agile and strong, they use their forelegs effectively for hunting and for moving around. Being good swimmers and climbers, getting a clear shot of the majestic creatures can really be charming.
Although, bears characteristically avoid humans as best as they can, their keen senses and the ability to move quietly also make them a perfect gamer of hiding and seek.
