‘I Can’t Get A Job Because I Spent $243k Transforming Myself With Tattoos And Surgery’

Amber Luke is no stranger to new headlines. Yet again, the Aussie model has stunned the internet after sharing the aftermath of her tongue-splitting surgery. While the procedure was excruciatingly painful, the 26-Year-Old told her audience on Instagram she had to get her tongue split twice as she was lazy with the first cut and didn’t pull it apart. 

The gruesome procedure involves cutting the tongue into a fork with a scalpel, and the organ needs to be pulled apart regularly to prevent it from closing back up.

The Brisbane-based then added: “Therefore, it healed quite significantly. So back under the scalpel blade, I went when it healed. It hurt IMMENSELY the second time, as the scar tissue was prominent. Nowadays – these are my tongues.” 

Before this, the tattoo model, who underwent the needle as a teenager, had covered almost 99% of her body in ink and also had multiple piercings. 

She has had holes punctured into her stretched ears and even risked blindness by tattooing her eyeballs.

Last year, she also went blind for three weeks and cried blue tears after having a “dragon blue” inking tattooed to her eyeballs.

But Amber’s latest confession revealed her problems include more than painful operations.

She spoke to Brisbane radio show Robin, Terry & Kip about her struggling working life.

In total, it’s estimated that Amber has over 600 tattoos, including portraits on her thighs, bold eyeball ink, and geometric designs all over her chest.

Amber said: “I’m not going to sugar-coat it, it has limited my [employment] options but that’s okay.

“Because the way I see it is, I don’t want to work for a company that’s shallow-minded [and can’t] look past my image.”

She added: “They won’t look at my work ethic, they won’t look at my morals or my values or what I have to bring to the table.”

The influencer equally has body modifications like dermal piercings placed under the skin. Amber’s unique appearance has landed her modeling gigs and photoshoots with brands, which have since helped her stand out on adults-only subscription site OnlyFans. In early 2022, she had revealed she made a whopping £162K by selling sexy pictures. 

Even though she’s altered her looks a lot, it’s improbable the model will stop soon.

In the comments of her post, which has since garnered over 1K likes, one person commented: “Wow I like that tongue. I’d like to get mine done.” Another dubbed Amber “a Fantastic goddess.” While a third stated: “I like the way you look. And I want to be like you.” A fourth also expressed: “Ouchies.”

However, Amber is in the process of getting the sleeves on her arms blacked out.
