Stranger Who Tried Saving A Dog Locked In A Hot Car Got Yelled At By Owner Instead

We don’t like getting involved in people’s problems, but one simply cannot ignore a dog inside a car on a hot day. That was what Jennifer Williams-Frangie witnessed during a hot day when she was going out for groceries. She didn’t know if the car has been parked for half a minute or half an hour.

What she knew was it was too hot to leave your pet alone in the car.

Joshua Candelaria, who filmed and posted the video on Facebook, wrote, “Just out for groceries and notice a dog locked in his car on a hot day like today. As we look around for the owner, we see no one.”

Jennifer got involved in a verbal fight with the owner, who arrived shortly after.

She got aggressive when people were asking about her dog and making sure it’s okay. As seen in the video, she got close into Jennifer’s place, infiltrating her personal space. She also got close to the cameraman.

The owners explained that they had just gotten back from swimming, proved by the dog being wet (dogs don’t sweat!).

Taken from this, it was probably true that the dog hasn’t been left alone for too long in there and was wet enough not to heat up too fast. Still, they could’ve left one person behind instead of going out together. Or perhaps, not get aggressive when people ask about her dog because they were concerned about it.

Things didn’t get physical, but it certainly could’ve happened without insults and verbal attacks.

“I am that person that will sit with your dog and watch to make sure he’s OK, and then I’m going to break into your car after a certain amount of time and give him a bowl of water,” Jennifer wrote.

But you know what, the dog is safe and sound; Jennifer proved that we as a community should continue to be wary of our surroundings and that not everyone has evil intentions just because they’re around your car. Be like Jennifer.
