Somebody Placed A Huge Stone To Stop Curb Jumpers And Capture Stupids That Ignored It
The perfect trap for defaulters!
Numerous vehicles have been jumping a particular curb in a parking lot and residents based in Omaha, Nebraska got infuriated about it. So one of the residents took the issue to heart and placed a giant on the curb to prevent drivers from passing through the shortcut.
Interestingly, a Facebook Group titled: The W Mpale Omaha Rock was created to document the reckless drivers who choose to ignore the rock and end up paying a price. The whole result has been pretty hilarious but possibly not for the people who for some reason or the other continue to drive over the rock and damage their vehicles.
A Lot Of Drivers Were Spotted Jumping The Curb And The Rock Placed Was The Ideal Solution
‘I honestly don’t when the huge rock was put into place. But I do know that the rock was placed there because a lot of drivers were jumpers. Despite the big rock, a lot still drove over the curb and get their cars damaged or flat tires. It equally resulted in giant holes where the grass is being ripped out and where rain would collect and create a huge mud puddle.’ A member of the group, identified as Devon Barnett reportedly said.
It Appears The Huge Stone Didn’t Stop Them
Devon added: ‘I believe a lot of people just don’t pay attention while driving. However, there are Twitter and Facebook pages and I think it began to pick up the flame on Twitter before the Facebook profile launch.’ Driving Instructor Blog, on the other hand, revealed there are numerous reasons why drivers can’t make a corner with their vehicles. ‘For instance, a lot of new drivers when turning left looks at some oncoming traffic that’s down the road instead of looking at where they’re going. Hence, what’s the point in looking at it anymore?’
‘It’s not like a driver can turn halfway and then press a pause button as well as to reevaluate a decision. So importantly you should aim your car where you looking. If you’re glaring at the oncoming traffic when turning left, then the car will aim towards oncoming traffic, resulting in a wide turn as opposed to simply making a decision to turn when sighting a gap in that traffic then aiming where exactly you want the car to go.’
