Sofia Richie Said Yes To Elliot Grainge As They Held A Luxurious Reception In The French Riviera
The daughter of Lionel Richie looked absolutely stunning.
Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge vowed their eternal love at the lavish reception they threw on the French Riviera. The couple shared the beautiful moment with their family and friends at the luxury Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and they both looked like absolute perfection for the event.
The 24-year-old daughter of Lionel Richie has been rumored to be tying the knot on Saturday and has invited a slew of A-list celebrities.
Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have been spotted to be among the guest list that was attending the event. Her sister and her husband, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, were also seen at the event. So was Lionel Richie himself and her brother, Miles.
The couple got engaged last year April and announced the happy news on their social media with a snap of their sweet moment. They began dating early 2021 before making it Instagram official in April 2021.
Sofia wore a gorgeous ivory gown for the event, her hair was neatly tied to the back, paired with glowing makeup and sparkling accessories.
The couple posed for several pictures at the reception before they headed to where their family and friends were at.
Elliot, 30, was dapper in a black tailored suit on white shirt and held Sofia’s hand as they got around the place for pictures and to meet their guests.
The couple went all out as their accommodation was at a five-star hotel that has a seafront view of Cap d’Antibes. It was a building built in 1869 as a private mansion before it was turned into a hotel 20 years later.
They had a lavish reception event ahead of their wedding day at Eden Roc. Sofia pictured snapping pictures with her glam sister and friend.
Before the lavish event, Sofia who was raised a Christian had shared that she was switching to Judaism and called this moment in her life as “one of the greatest experiences of my life.”
She wrote about it to her followers on Instagram, “What a magical day. I want to thank cantor Nathan Lam for helping me along this journey of converting to Judaism. It has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. Today was that day!!!”
The former Christian said, “I went there for two years, and that’s where I got my sense. My family wanted the church to be a place where we all went together. My dad was always traveling and my mom was always working. School is where I did Bible classes and studied God.”
