Smart Dog Rings Doorbell At 2 Am After Owners Accidentally Locked It Outside
Rude awakening, but worth the effort!
Can you relate to Chika’s situation? For me, It’s a Yes.
I have been locked mistakenly on a cold night and it was really scary. The same scenario is what happened to a dog who was forced to ring the doorbell in a bid to get her owner’s attention after being locked outside accidentally by owners.
Seen in a video captured on a doorbell-cam, placed outside the Fox Family home in McDonough, Georgia, the dog popped up from the bottom of the screen and sniffed around the camera, shortly after 2 a.m.

Chika, the Labrador-Mix, then used her snout to press the buzzer and the doorbell chimes could be heard playing in the background. Looking around briefly scurrying on to the porch to keep watching, the dog waited to be let in.
Chika, then heard noises in the distance and immediately hurried down the front steps. But a few minutes later, Chika was seen returning to ring the doorbell once again, and this time around she hit it with her paw.
She took a few steps backs and patiently stood, apparently where the video ended.
