Sandra Bullock Back With Netflix For ‘Unforgiven’ By Writer Of ‘Mission: Impossible’
Bullock back with a new project.
The star from ‘Bird Box’ and ‘Ocean 8’ is back with Netflix, although it’s not for the sequel of ‘Bird Box’ just yet. She’s teamed up with ‘M.I: Fallout’ writer Christopher McQuarrie for a film adaptation of 2009’s series ‘Unforgiven’.
‘Unforgiven’ is a British series that focuses on an ex-convict, Ruth Slater, who did the violent crime. She comes out to rebuild her life in a society that has refused to accept her again and she sets out to find her sister. Suranne Jones played her part in the three-part series.
McQuarrie reveals on Twitter of the project’s confirmation along with the fact that he’s written the first draft since 2010.
German filmmaker Nora Fingscheidt has been pointed to direct the movie. She had her debut this year with ‘System Crasher’ (‘Systemsprenger’) and won the Berlin International Film Festival for the Silver Bear Alfred Bauer Prize 2019. It is also Germany’s entry for 2020 Oscar’s ‘Best International Feature Film’.
